7 great temporary pop-up restaurants patios in Vancouver
If you didn't know, the City of Vancouver allowed businesses to set up temporary patio permits for free from June 1 until October 31, 2020. This program was implemented to help small and local businesses impacted by COVID-19.
It's patio season, and now that many of these pop-up patios are built and already serving Vancouverites from all over, we're sharing 10 of our favourite patios that we've either passed by, seen, or dined-in to!
Overlooking West 16th Avenue is Yuwa's brand new patio featuring cushioned chairs, lattice dividers, a large, 11-foot umbrella, plenty of greenery and plenty of cool shade in the hottest hours of the evening.

Not feeling tacos? How about some pizza? No worries, you'll have to choose once you get down to Main, cause right next door to El Camino's, is Pizzeria Grano! Brownie points for one of the cutest patios we've seen yet!
We all love MeeT on Main! IF you don't know about this awesome, delicious restaurant, their new patio space should give you an aesthetically-pleasing reason why you should check them out! Not to mention some of THE best vegan and gluten-friendly options around town.
