Drink up with these creepy concoctions in Vancouver this weekend!

Spooky season is here, folks.

We're helping you, your friends, and your family celebrate the festive fun that is Halloween! A few restaurants and bars are running some exciting Halloween-themed concepts to give your taste buds a scare!

4 of Vancouver's best restaurants will be participating in a tour of some creepy concoctions this Saturday, Oct. 31st on Halloween Day!

They're saying to "creep it real" with special Halloween-themed cocktails and bites at four awesome spots around town.

Stay tuned: we're featuring this restaurant on BeVancouver soon!

One restaurant that we love and support, is Pawn Shop YVR. They've brewed up two Halloween drink specials you need to slurp on this weekend:

Slimer's Sneeze: Cocolero, lime juice, and basil syrup

Fairy's Blood: Bacardi gold, lemon juice, honey syrup, mango, soda

Pair it with awesome selection of tacos, burritos, and other Mexican-inspired dishes to make for one heck of a night.

To view what other restaurants are participating, check out the event details here!

UVA, located on Seymour St. right beside it's sibling, CIBO Trattoria, will be offering a spooky trio of cocktails that'll have you in fear.

Bad Apple ($15), Witches Brew ($16), Jack in a Box ($15) are the three creepy choices for you to get going for the evening!

Papi’s Seafood and Oyster Bar are offering a feature cocktail until the 31st of October.

Check out the Russian Roulette for $14:

  • 2 oz vanilla bean infused bulleit bourbon

  • .5 oz Mia Amata maro

  • .5 oz kahlua

  • 2 dashes oranges bitters

  • Garnished with a house made boozy cherry and orange peel pumpkin

East Van Roasters is bringing you the Witches Brew. It looks weird, we know.

But guess was, it's DELICIOUS and we strongly recommend you trying it if you're not looking for a boozie drink. If you're trying to warm up from the cooler weather, it's great way to stay festive and chill out on Halloween.

This hot cocoa mix is made with their stone-ground Ecuadorian chocolate topped with a dash of charcoal and charmed with brainy house-made strawberry-swirled marshmallows for a scary-delicious combination.

Who wants to drink some brains?

Yup, Straight & Marrow has a horrific cocktail that's not for the faint of heart... we're kidding.

It's a three rum blend, pineapple juice, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and so much more. Who thought a drink could look so terrifying, sound exotic, and taste so refreshing?
