Things to do in Vancouver this Week | Nov. 9 - Nov. 15

With the new COVID-19 health orders coming from British Columbia's top health officials, there's a challenge for local businesses to continue to operate at their capacity, and for locals to interact and enjoy experiences.

The restrictions are focusing in on minimizing social interactions, non-essential travelling within and outside of the region, indoor group exercise and workplaces. For more info on the new order, read here.

With that being said, while we are on the side of supporting the need to stay home, take care, and social distance from non-essential interactions, there are ways for you to still go out and enjoy this week within your immediate circle!

While it's a small list this week, here are some fun ideas that you can do this week and weekend to stay busy!

REMINDER: please wear a mask, sanitize, wash hands often, stick to your immediate circle, and social distance from others.

Enjoy a movie with your immediate family, roommates, or your inner circle with a drive-in movie in Langley!

Nothing better than sharing the space with others like a movie theatre, except, you're in the privacy and comfort of your own vehicle!

There will be showings from Friday to Sunday with these movies on the list:

  • November 13 – 15, 2020

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles | Friday | 5:30 PM; Saturday & Sunday | 9:40 PM

  • Friday The 13th | Friday | 7:40 PM & 9:45 PM

  • Toy Story | Saturday & Sunday | 4:45 PM

  • Guardians of the Galaxy | Saturday & Sunday | 7:00 PM

Enjoy a classic Granville Island experience with a walk around the island, taking in the beautiful sights of the lights, and making stops at some of the best vendors, shops, and eats in all of the city.

On November 12th, following Remembrance Day, Granville Island will turn on its Christmas and holiday light display!

Dress warm, and bundle up with your immediate circle for festive, fun day or night of strolling around the island!
